V5.8.0 - Launch of New Tagging Functionality and Optimization of Clients & Leads Details Tab

In this release, you can now add tags to your clients and leads to provide a comprehensive overview of their profile and status. Customize your own tags, color code them and allow your team to understand all account profiles at a quick glance. Optimizations have also been done to clients and leads details to enhance readability of data. Read on to find out more!

New Tagging Functionality

1) Different Types of Tags

  1. There are 2 different types of tags available:

    • Public Tags: These are tags that are more commonly used across all clients and leads, which you can standardize and apply across all clients and leads. For example: “High Risk Client” “Low Risk Client” “Algo Trader”

    • Private Tags: These are tags that are more specific to a certain client / lead situation and are generally less applicable to other clients and leads. For example: “Bank Account Closed Recently” “Partner of ABC Company”

  2. Tagging your clients and leads will allow you to have a comprehensive understanding on their profiles at one glance.

  3. Each client / lead can have up to 30 tags. However, only up to 5 tags will be displayed in the clients / leads page.

2) Permissions

For both Clients & Leads, there are the following added permissions:

  1. Manage Lead / Customer Labels: Users will be able to:

    • View tags on clients and leads

    • Add pre-existing tags to clients and leads

    • Delete tags from clients and leads

    • Drag and sort tags

  2. Set Private Tags Users will be able to create new private tags.

  3. Set Public Tags Users will be able to create new public tags.

3) Creation of Tags

The tags created for clients and leads are not the same. You will be able to setup specific and separate tags for clients and leads.

  1. To add a new public tag, select the Settings Button, followed by the “+” icon.

  2. Key in the name of the tag and click “Enter” on your keyboard. The tag can have a maximum of 50 characters and cannot be repeated with existing tags.

  3. The tag is now created, and you can tag it to your client / lead by clicking “New Tag”. If the client / lead already has 30 tags, you will not see the “New Tag” button.

4) Removing of Tags from Clients / Leads Profile

To remove a tag from your client / lead profile, simply click onto the “x” button:

5) Changing Color Code of Tags

  1. Select the “Settings” icon

  2. Select the “>” icon for the tag you wish to change color for

  3. Select your preferred color choice

6) Sorting of Tags

  1. Public and private tags are segregated by a line.

  2. By default, public tags are shown on top and private tags are shown below.

Drag and hold the tags to sort.

7) Deletion of Tags

  1. Select the “Settings” icon

  2. Select the “>” icon for the tag you wish to delete

  3. Click “Delete”

  4. There will be a pop-up notification to inform you that deleting a tag will remove the tag from all clients and leads profile.

8) Filtering of Clients / Leads based on Tags

  1. You can filter the client / leads based on the tags.

  2. You can indicate more than one tag in your filter. The search results will show all clients / leads that have either one of the tags.

Optimization of Clients & Leads Details Tab

1) Clients Details Tab

There is now a new tab called “About Customers”. It displays the information previously found under the Client Name.

2) Leads Details Tab

The leads details are now segregated into 3 different tabs:

  1. You can now tag the Owner and Participants for each lead.

  2. You can now set the following permissions for Leads module too:

    • Update Owner

    • Update Participants

    • Update Lead Status
