# V7.58.0 - Automated IB Promotion for Prop Trading Participation Fees

*Learn about all the details of all our recent CRM updates here.*

**Released Date - 10 October 2025**

{% hint style="info" %}
This extension requires the Automated IB Promotion app to be installed.
{% endhint %}

This release introduces an enhancement to the existing Automated IB Promotion module, extending tier evaluation capabilities to include Prop Trading Participation Fees. As prop trading becomes an increasingly effective way for brokers to engage clients with a more dynamic offering, brokers can now automate IB promotions based on Prop Trading participation fees. This allows brokers to extend promotion logic into a new growth area, align IB rewards with prop trading activity, and manage tier movements with greater efficiency and consistency.

### Key Function Highlights

1. **Flexible Tier Names and Criteria:** Set custom tier names and define promotion criteria based on the total Prop Trading participation fees generated by downline clients. This gives brokers more flexibility to structure performance-driven programs around their own desired branding and incentive model, while rewarding IBs based on meaningful prop trading activity.
2. **Automated Promotion and Demotion:** Automatically assess whether IBs qualify for promotion or demotion based on configured Prop Trading participation fee criteria. Specific accounts can also be excluded from the evaluation cycle where demotion should not apply, giving brokers greater control over tier movements while keeping the tier structure clear and performance-led.
3. **Flexible Downline Contribution Scope:** Choose whether total participation fees are calculated from direct downlines, indirect downlines, or both. This gives brokers more flexibility to align tier qualification rules with their IB structure and incentive strategy.
4. **Rules for Selected Tiers:** Choose which tiers are included in automated evaluation by enabling or disabling the rule for specific levels within the rank structure. This gives brokers more flexibility in how tier movements are managed, while preserving manual control where needed.
5. **Manual or Automated Tier Processing:** Support operational governance with flexible processing options. Brokers can allow tier changes to be applied automatically after each evaluation cycle or require administrative review and approval before the changes take effect.
6. **Customizable Monthly Evaluation Schedule:** Schedule automated tier assessments based on a preferred date, time, and time zone, ensuring that evaluations align with operational and reporting cycles for accurate and consistent tier management.

{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Configure Rule Settings

1. Enter a "**Rule Name**" for the configuration.
   1. The name must be unique and cannot duplicate any existing tier upgrade rules.

2. Select the desired "**Promotion Method**":
   1. **Automatic Promotion**\
      The system will automatically promote or demote IBs once the evaluation criteria are met during the scheduled assessment.
   2. **Manual Promotion**\
      The system will evaluate eligible IBs for promotion or demotion, but the changes will only take effect after manual approval by you.

3. Specify the "**Client Type**" which the rule applies:
   1. Traders
   2. IBs
   3. Both – Select both "**Traders**" and "**IBs**" to apply the rule to both client types.

4. Choose the "**Qualification Criteria**" used to evaluate tier eligibility:
   1. **Deposit**\
      Tier qualification is based on the deposits generated by the IB’s downline.
   2. **Prop Challenge Participation Fee**\
      Tier qualification is based on the total Prop Trading Participation Fees generated by the IB’s downline.
      1. Select the base currency for calculation (e.g., USD). Fees in other currencies will be automatically converted to the selected currency.
      2. Only activated prop challenge accounts are included in the calculation.
      3. The net participation fee is considered, meaning any discounts or coupons applied will be deducted from the total.

5. Define the "**Downline Scope**", which means the downline clients that will contribute to the calculation:

   1. Direct Downlines – Includes only clients directly referred by the IB.
   2. Indirect Downlines – Includes clients referred through sub-IBs.
   3. Both – Select both options to include all levels of the IB network.

6. Select the "**Rank Structure**" to which this rule will apply. Once selected the system will automatically populate a table displaying all tiers within the chosen rank.

7. For each tier:
   1. **Apply Rule** – Choose "**Yes**" or "**No**" to determine whether the rule should be applied to that specific tier. If set to "**No**", the Qualification Threshold field will be disabled and cannot be edited, as the selected tier is excluded from the evaluation.
   2. **Qualification Threshold** – Specify the minimum Prop Challenge Participation Fee required for an IB’s downline to qualify for promotion or demotion. IBs must meet or exceed this threshold during the evaluation cycle.

8. The assessment is conducted on a monthly basis. Select the day of the month when the evaluation should occur.

9. Choose the appropriate time zone for the evaluation.

10. Specify the exact time the evaluation should be executed.

11. After completing all required fields, click "**Save**" to activate the Tier Upgrade Rule.
